Kat Scardino is a registered Psychological Assistant (PSB94024043) under the supervision of Dr. Carrie Hastings. She specializes in working with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, substance abuse, and learning difficulties. Kat earned her master’s degree in Counseling and Sport Psychology from Boston University and is completing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at California Southern University. She is a certified Mental Performance Consultant with the Association of Applied Sport Psychology.
Kat Scardino has over 15 years of experience playing competitive basketball and soccer in Southern California. She has coached competitive youth and high school basketball teams for nearly 4 years. Her personal and professional experience with diverse levels of competition has allowed her to truly understand the various mental and emotional needs of athletes. Her professional experience in sport psychology has been focused on working with athletes at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels in a variety of sports. Kat’s passion and love for sports continues to influence her work and drives her to assist athletes in reaching their full potential and enjoying their sport.
