Andrea Perales

M.A., Clinical Psychology

Andrea Perales, M.A. is a passionate athlete mental skills practitioner who works with athletes of all levels, empowering them to enhance their overall mental well-being and performance. She is committed to helping her clients navigate the psychological challenges of competition through the practice of mental resilience and concentration. Andrea encourages positive self-talk and confidence in all her athletes, and guides them toward effective ways to manage stress, stay motivated, deal with pressure, and communicate effectively. She also trains athletes who may be coping with trauma, grief, depression, and anxiety on mindfulness techniques.

Andrea grew up a multisport athlete and became a student athletic trainer during college so she could gain a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. With her comprehensive understanding of the psychological aspects of performance, Andrea’s unique combination of background, kinesiological expertise and clinical insight lend to her holistic approach to helping clients optimize their well-being and athletic achievement.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from University of Hawai’i at Manoa and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University.
