Jorge Ballesteros

M.A., M.S.

Jorge Ballesteros received his bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC, Santa Barbara. He earned dual master’s degrees from Ball State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Kinesiology with an emphasis in Sport Psychology. He is in his final year of his Ph.D. program at Arizona State University studying Counseling psychology.

Jorge has a strong interest and passion in working with student-athletes, specifically athletes of color. He has experience in working with Olympic, collegiate, and high school athletes on various issues including confidence, pre-performance anxiety, focus, and leadership. Jorge has worked with athletes who have competed in volleyball, track & field, swimming & diving, softball, and soccer to name a few. He is bilingual in Spanish and English and is passionate about providing work in either language. Jorge strives to create a safe and collaborative space for athletes to reach their goals.
