Doron Willis

M.A., LMFT, PES

Doron is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a former Division I collegiate athlete (football), and a certified fitness and sports performance coach.

Doron earned his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in marriage & family therapy from Phillips Graduate University, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a concentration in Healthy Lifestyle Coaching from Arizona State University. Doron holds a certificate in Sports & Exercise Psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills, and a certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Doron is also trained in EMDR therapy, which can help athletes identify and eliminate negative beliefs about themselves, decrease performance anxiety, and reduce somatic and emotional triggers that hinder their performance.

Additionally, Doron is the author of the book, The IT Factors for Athletic Dominance: Identifying the Traits of Elite Athletes. When it comes to athletic performance, Doron is of the mindset that the mind needs to be just as strong, if not stronger than the body. His philosophy is, “The body plays the game, but your mindset determines the outcome.”
